I visited the place last Sunday. I have to say I am impressed so far. The inside is a mix of wood, leather, and cool art. This place is beautiful inside. You can sit inside or outside for the prime people watching while you eat. (sit outside— look cool— because you are eating in a new see and be seen spot.) The menu was limited on this day because everything was not fully open yet. I tried the Gruyere grilled cheese with caramelized onions and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was great. The caramelized onion was a bit heavy, but overall the Gruyere grilled cheese was very good. The staff were all very friendly and even let us take a sneak peak at the cafe next door. If this place keeps the great service going with good food, we will have another winner on my favorite block of K street. Overall I am impressed so far with the new spot. I will definitely be back again.

Stopped in on Monday night, for the “Happy Hour All night Special”. What a great place! the atmosphere was perfect. It was a mix of earthly woods and stone, and complementary artwork added to the appeal of this open air bar. I started at the bar and ordered a Mammoth Brewing Co. Hefeweizen, and found it a refreshing citrus flavored beer, as all Hef’s should be, a bit on the sweet side but definitely worth it. I pared it with the carnitas quesadilla which was very good, and finished off with a Negra Modelo, a full bodied dark. Service was prompt and very friendly. I moved to one of the outside tables to take in the newly opened K-street drive and the sounds and activity of downtown Sacramento became a very relaxing city experience. My only regret is that I didn’t have more time to stay. This place is definitely worth checking out, and I will definitely add it to my list of favorites.

The door guy was totally friendly…not like most bouncers. The manager stopped by our table and joked with us when I told him that the humus was actually good…my friend made me try it. He suggested trying the sliders they were yummy. Saw the happy hour prices and def will be back. The only down side was the location of the bathroom.
