I visited Centro on 28th & J Street for lunch on Oct 4, 2006. I have to say the carnitas was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I truly enjoyed my meal and appreciated the great taste of all the FRESH ingredients.

The waiter and maitre'd were very helpful in explaining the menu. The waiter checked on us several times. Just great service. The food is good and unique in preparation. One of our favorites in the Sacramento area!!!

Your Carnitas Burrito is fabulous, I love the crispy pork and I love your black beans and rice. Your tomatillo salsa is to die for. You have the best Tomatillo Salsa anywhere, hands down. Sarah was our server and she even remembered us from 2 weeks before, which was our first visit. It was awesome.

I really enjoy the more "authentic" presentation of the food. The frijoles charros were excellent. The server was very personable and competent. The service was pretty quick for a large party (8 people)

Great restaurant - we love the Oaxacan Enchiladas Mole and order them each time we visit. I am sure the other dishes are wonderful but we have not experienced them because we would miss our favorite meal. Keep up the great food, service and friendly waiters!

My server was very attentive, and seemed to know a lot about Mexican food. Every question I had about the menu he knew. I usually eat dinner here but a friend was in town for work so we decided to eat out for lunch and we were both craving Mexican food. What the server recommended really hit the spot and even though the Guacamole was a bit pricey it was really fresh and you could tell it was made today. What was even better were the Margaritas. I rarely drink with lunch, but the drink really went well and made me and my friends experience even better. We both had a great time and lots of laughs and I was honored to take my friend to such a nicely and well run place for lunch. The service was better than I expected for lunch and to tell you the truth I don't think that I have had a better server even at dinner time. We were taken care of well and next time my friend comes in from out of town we are making plans to come back for lunch or dinner. The food was great and I would have to say that this is one of the better places to get authentic Mexican food in town.
